Year 6 enjoyed a trip to Rock and River where they all participated in activities such as archery, rock climbing, den building and raft building!
They then returned to school for even more activities including First Aid training, Taekwondo, orienteering and they even toasted marshmallows around a camp fire!
Year 6 visited Lostock Hall Academy for taster sessions where they participated in PE, French and Science lessons!
This week we have been researching Indian recipes and today we have followed some of them to make some exciting things!
Year 6 enjoyed a Canine Safety Session where they learned how to keep themselves safe around dogs.
This week Year 6 had a visit from Cultural Educ-Asian and had an India themed day! We had the opportunity to have henna applied, sample Indian food and create a piece of rangoli art!
Year 6 have been very busy today with their fundraising to adopt a tiger!
This afternoon Year 6 have enjoyed planting trees on the school field in the sunshine!
As part of British Science Week Year 6 and Year 1 have worked together this afternoon to complete 3 experiments that look at ‘changes’.
We’ve had a wonderful afternoon today to finish off our Spelling Bee week. Well done to the winners, runners up and all of Year 6 for the effort they have put in over the last few weeks to try and learn those tricky words!
Year 6 have enjoyed a day at Chorley Magistrates Court this afternoon taking part in a mock trial!
Year 6 worked very hard on their designs for their Greek Vases and displayed them for the Art Fair.
